Events Event

What to check before playing

Before spending a full energy bar, open the event screen and check the next reachable reward. If the next reward is far away, it may be better to finish normal orders and return later.

Energy route

Use this simple route:

  1. Claim mailbox, daily, and event rewards.
  2. Check the event milestone distance.
  3. Spend energy on event tasks only when the next reward is realistic.
  4. Stop when the event starts asking for too many high-level items.

Keep event items separate

Do not mix event-only items with permanent merge chain notes. Event items may disappear or stop being useful when the event ends. Label them with the event name and date.

What to record

Useful notes include the milestone number, required item, item level, reward, timer left, and whether the item came from a normal generator or an event-only source.

When to skip

Skip or play lightly if the event asks for expensive chains while your order board already has story or restaurant blockers. Progress that stays after the event usually matters more.

Is Trawling for Toys worth finishing?

Only if the final rewards are visible and you have enough time or stored resources to reach them. Otherwise, take the easy rewards and stop.

Do event items return later?

Some event themes repeat, but do not assume the exact same item chain or reward cost will return unchanged.

Should you spend gems during the event?

Only spend gems if you are one small step away from a reward you actually want. Avoid gem spending early in the event path.

Quick FAQ

What is the short answer?

Treat Trawling for Toys like a limited event: check the reward path first, spend energy only when a milestone is reachable, and record event-only items separately from normal merge chains.
